Sorry - I meant the Rising Stars haven't been as great recently. Cripps is a superstar.
Sam Walsh is a superstar.

Cripps signs a long term deal, hits form again. Hmmm…
Yes he is. Surprising number of recent ones though who aren't that good.Sam Walsh is a superstar.
Agree. Will be top 10 for sure. Top 5 will require a slight improvement although he is close. I feel the Pies dont like to give top 5 finishes to first year players. Although he wont be denied if he starts kicking a few goals along with his current contributions. Pendlebury, Crisp, Mihochek, Lipinski, Adams, J Daicos and IQ are slightly in front imo. He is similar to DeGoey, Noble (feel a little sick), Howe, Ginnivan and Moore.Yeah, he's a legit chance at finishing top 5 in our B&F in his first season. That's no joke

It's a good group of players, as you'd expect due to the nature of the award. I'm going to ignore the last two because it's too early to tell, but of that list I'd suggest that Walsh looks like exceeding expectations at the time he won the award, Talia probably as well. The rest look like underachieving expectations, although Mills is coming with a rush.Since 2010 -
Hannebery - A Grader before injuries
Heppell - A Grader
Talia - Good player, 200 games.
O'Meara - Future star before he destroyed his knee
Taylor - Spud
Hogan - Future superstar before injuries and off-field issues.
Mills - A Grader
McGrath - decent player in a struggling team, still has time.
Stephenson - Spud
Walsh - Superstar
Serong - Looks like a future star
Jackson - Looks like a future star.
I think overall it's a pretty damn good mix, a fair few of them had careers ruined by injury that makes it look not as good.
I was taking the piss…………………Was playing injured all last year…
He’ll kick 4 goals in a game.I’d love for him to play that forward of Center role. Similar to what we wanted from Daniel Wells a few years ago. He’s a great kick and can kick goals from 50.
Would you have him and De Goey swapping midfield minutes?
What’s the risk?I would Rest Nick Next Week.
No worth Risk him with Travel to WA.
Freo will Murder us
Covid?What’s the risk?
Body's in barrels!Covid?
More risk going to Adelaide.
There they really would murder you and bury the body in the hills.
What’s the risk?
He was still comfortably in our top 5 players last night. He still gets ignored by some teammates in certain situations or gets unlucky from a turnover upfield when he makes good position. Otherwise he is very consistent can’t wait when he goes into midfield.
Isn’t that a risk every game?Getting Injured
Isn’t that a risk every game?
How does that increase his chance of injury?Yes but we are Traveling
How does that increase his chance of injury?
Haven’t you ever watched Air Crash Investigation? How does that increase his chance of injury?
Plane crashHow does that increase his chance of injury?
Plane crash less risk than car crash but still he'd be in the air longer than on the road. How does that increase his chance of injury?
