I would like to see a defensively minded midfielder get a spot at ball ups. When they got possession they practically walked it out.

My main concern with our AFLW team is that we appear to have absolutely made no headway in addressing our shortcomings. After so many seasons, the exact same weaknesses exist. Have we scored anything in our 4 final quarters this season? It’s patently obvious how we will exit the competition again this year. We will get run over after halftime against all the main contenders - Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide + some other team. It’s a shame really because we have so much upside in many ways.

Were absolutely murdered in clearances, especially in the second half, I'm not sure who was on Amy McDonald but I was livid seeing her walking out of ball ups with barely a hand laid on her time and time again. As much as I like Kearney in the back half, perhaps it's time to move her in the midfield after halftime because we are terrible in the centre, after working so hard in the first to build a lead.

The license was given to North, we entered into an arrangement with Tasmania where we would call the team that and play some games there.

I am guessing it will revert when Tasmania get their own AFL license and we leave Tasmania.

We are currently in the 5th year of a 5-year AFLW deal with the Tas govt.

No reason we shouldn't win 7 games. There's the chance of a mid-road team with a softer draw winning 7 or 8 and sneaking into the top 4 ahead of us.

Regardless of whether we finish top 4, the safe bet at this stage is we will be playing the Bulldogs in week 2 of finals. Then probably playing Melbourne in the PF.

In every single game this season, we’ve been held scoreless in one quarter. R1, R3 & R4 we scored zip in Q4. Against Melbourne in R2, we were scoreless in Q2. We cannot win the flag if that persists. The rest of the competition will know we’re a 3 quarter team.
