Until you end up in a barrel in Snowtown that is.

You need a better travel agent m8y ;)

Or you could end up in Belanglo State Forest?
Or at the Lindt Cafe?
Or Curtis Cheng?
Or hell why not a race riot?

Your game is a bit silly. Almost as silly as the lockout laws.

Belanglo State Forest is a lovely National treasure.
You should really go there.

Race riots. LULZ.
A few Woodstock laden bogans does not equate to a "race riot".
See Detroit circa 1967/68 for a prime example.

But not to worry matey, eventually time will catch up to Adelaide as well.
Hell, you've got a plethora of Shisha cafe's creeping in already and a lovely multicultural feel around Elizabeth :thumbsu:

5th most liveable my arse. :p
Can't even get near Melbourne...

only people from Adelaide are allowed to knock Adelaide

all you born and bred east coasters can lay off....

Now.... from my ivory tower of living in Melbourne for nearly 10 years, I can say I love going home to Adelaide for a weekend, and then leaving...

But I can say that because I'm from there

Lol you're classic, bring up 1 crime that happened in the mid 90s to try to taint a city.
Sad.

Yes you had a race riot...face the facts. Sydney's west is a lovely place... if you like ice addicts and heroin injecting single mothers.

Oh look there it is in plain view. Looks like Sydney cant even get near Adelaide.

Melbourne I can understand, but Sydney is a shithole.

oh that isn't even a contest

my favourite Sydney story was the time our band was playing in Brisbane, and we were driving up after playing in Melbourne. For some reason we hadn't booked any Sydney shows on this tour. Anyway, we'd planned to crash with some friends in Sydney after a day's drive, and keep moving the following day to Brisbane.

Somehow we must have left Melbourne really early that day and we started getting to the outskirts of Sydney around 5pm... Then we noticed the signs pointing to Newcastle, and we thought 'Should we just go to Newcastle instead?'

We got to Newcastle just after 7pm, it was summer (daylight savings) so we managed to fit in a swim down at the beach after we arrived. The next day we had a two hour head start on our drive to Brisbane...

basically, my favourite Sydney story, is that time we drove straight past the place

This. Local league is more concerned about being "the second best team in the comp" through recruiting washed-up AFL rejects rather than developing local talent.

SA clubs need an academy
From what I saw of the SANFL - especially the Grand Final, I didn't see too many old AFL hacks...the Eagles had a couple and so did Sturt, but the majority of players looked like raw 18 - 20 year olds to me. I'd suggest the VFL has just as many, if not more. That said, I do think there are the odd few who view the SANFL as a better chance to be re-drafted.
The fix...let's go back to zones and give the two SA teams the entire state and maybe NT for good measure!

I look forward to them showing their stuff in the Test side in a couple of weeks.

Oh wait..
Look forward to Mitch Marsh getting picked despite averaging 24 with the stick after 18 tests, or Voges being shown up against quality opposition (again). In all seriousness hope Bancroft is picked - quality.

I love Adelaide but this is a long bow to draw as i am fairly certain in the 2016 version of this adelaide is 5th and sydney is 6th.

Ex-AFL-listed players in the 2016 SANFL GF

Eagles
Jared Petrenko
Chris Hall
Jarred Redden
Luke Thompson
Nick O'Brien

Sturt
Brodie Martin
Aidan Riley

Out of those names, only Riley is not a native South Australian, but he still has an SA tie by being a former Crows player. I feel like the pattern is similar at most clubs, that most ex-AFL guys are South Australians returning to their original state league club. You do get a few "imports", but they're often guys who never made it to AFL level, and / or also have work opportunities in SA.

Adelaide has improved dramatically in the last 5 years. Great city these days.

Sydney is just a wank-fest. The whole place is filled with money hungry people who spend 4 hours a day commuting in the hope they can one day own a boat and move suburb to a postcode they think is higher up the ladder. Once a year they get to go on their boss's boat and then they spend the next year wanking on about it.
Just a place with no soul. It is all money driven and attracts those kind of people.

A wins a win.
Either way, far from the shithole its made out to be.

To visit, yeah, not so great...but its a fantastic place to live.

The SANFL was never the standard of the VFL but in the late seventies to mid eighties the standard was pretty good and produced some players who went on to be VFL champions and some that went on to be serviceable league players. Back then more players stayed home too or stayed home longer.
What a load of shit.
The stalk defeinatley forgot to deliver logic with you.

The vfl constantly kept trying to change the rules to beat sa in state games. In fact a few times they loaded up with SA players to beat us.

If the standard wasn't as good, there would be no reason to cheat.
