The problem is it seems that way until Rubio and our band of merry 40 year olds inevitably go down. Rubio, Miller, Prince, Garnett, Pekovic, Martin - that's over a third of our roster that will almost certainly miss chunks of the year through injury/soreness/dementia (couldn't resist). Start moving that far down the depth chart and we're badly exposed. We have few capable shooters, a backlog of ordinary forwards, a messy roster and an extremely young core. Our starting group looks good but our second unit have been poor so far. We're going to need to start players from there throughout the year and reach even further back into our depth chart and I'm none too fond of seeing Jones, Payne, Rudez etc play more than a handful of minutes here and there. We beat the Lakers by 1 and the Nuggets to a good extent in spite of Rubio and Towns entering an unsustainable god mode; as much as I'd love to believe we can challenge for the playoffs (although I question whether it's in our best interests anyway), we've shown little so far to ease my doubts. We're looking solid on D and Towns is looking good which is fantastic, but I just don't think we're there yet.

I would have liked the variety in our attack too. It is too much the same with both Johnson and Starc.

Sometimes I struggle to work out how is bowling with the tv on mute. The attack just appeared so much the same. Siddle has a great mid-age ball record.
