Hate to admit it but the Giants are becoming a real football club. I dislike them as much as i despised the Bombers and Blues when they were relevant last century.

We laughed at them for years for melting under pressure. They're not melting tonight. No Ward, Coniglio, Whitfield, Patton, Deledio or Grubby and Davis injured. Magnificent effort.

Faark i hope the Tiges thump them next week.

Either way I can live with umpires making bad calls in live time. Judgement call and sometimes you make mistakes. Absolutely no excuse when you’re sitting in front of a video screen to make these mistakes but that’s the life with the AFL score review. Seems like a really simple task but they somehow can’t get it right.

So I almost put 100 bucks on GWS to win the flag after they beat the dogs - they were $13. I couldn’t bring myself to do it and I thought at least one of Brisbane or Collingwood would beat them anyway.

So now I’m in despair and don’t even have a financial get out of jail free card. The only thing that will turn this around will be if the tigers go all Geelong 2007 and thump them.

This is a sad, sad day for football.
