Annnnd it’s been deleted. Soft as butter.

Any Melbourne supporters actually there?

They’re either:

a) Still mourning the Liberal Party defeat at the election a few weeks ago

b) Monitoring the stock market

c) Trying to buy more properties they can negative gear the **** out of

d) At the snow

e) All of the above

If only we weren’t shit, we could have enjoyed this.

Just hope the return of Bruce, Hunter and hopefully McLean can really change things. Oh, and playing 2 rucks every week.
Obviously will take a few weeks to get match fit and for the forwards to gain synergy together.

We have lacked forward system in 2022, massive improvement required to help our once in a generation key forward.find space and cut down on blocking.

Ps have noticed some frees paid to forwards for backs blocking in the last.round.

We were always gonna be worse this year. History says this happens to every team that suffers a large grand final loss.

My problem is that half our wins were due to individual player brain fades and idiotic plays. Things like Caleb Daniels kick vs Adelaide is what I’m talking about. Coach killer.

It's funny that you don't look like a superstar team when you have to play players below depth 25 or 26 on your list due to injury, funny about that

Demons have given off the vibe that supreme fitness and a nonexistent injury list have been their biggest weapons over the last year and a half. Obviously you take any elite players and a team will struggle but I haven't felt at all like they're the undisputed best team this season and more that everyone else are varying degrees of mediocre to bad.

Not that surprising that when Darren Burgess leaves, these things change.

They have the best 1-on-1 defender in the comp and the best ruck who usually gives them first hands to the ball. They rely on those two players massively. Nullify those two areas and you can beat them like any other team.

Freo did it first with Sean Darcy taking it up to Gawn.

If we can solve our key defence and ruck issue this off season we won’t even have second thoughts about them next season.
