Brilliant performance from both sides but Queensland always find something extra. Yes it's a great show but it's pretty much all the NRL has got. The rest of the year is hard to watch.

League is a second rate sport.

Origin is their showpiece and always done very well but the bread and butter of week to week NRL is just plain crap on every level.

I also watched the Grand Final a few years ago.

The coverage was an embarrassment.

Gus Gould is a complete joke - people talk sometimes about biased commentary, this guy was laughable, literally barracking against Melbourne Storm.

Ray Warren is hardly any better. He gets called a legend of broadcasting but I think he’s cringeworthy - and only slightly less biased than Gould.

The NRL Grand Final in 2013 was outstanding, and showed up the snorefest between Hawthorn and Fremantle. But those games are not very common.
