Im not sure that Lewis is ever going to enjoy playing on beasts like Tex and the Fog. If he isn't running unimpeded and marking the ball (which to be fair he does well) he's ****ed.

Given a decent chance to play as a KPD he’s turned into a serviceable one with potentially 8-10 years of footy ahead of him. He’s not a star, and he’ll have bad games like tonight, but he’d be handy on a list like ours - KPD depth is largely ageing or not proven.

It’s probably not a disastrous coaching/list management decision, but it’s not a good one either.

On an unrelated point, I thought it was refreshing watching Fogarty kick tonight. Even when he missed the strike was pretty good. Everyone will have different strengths, but so many young KPFs like McKay, Daniher and Naughton are so inconsistent and should be embarrassed watching that.
