Not sure Sydney make the GF though as they appear to have peaked too early.
Beware the Bullies, although I saw them live against Port when they lost Naughton early and Weightman didn't even start, and it was the most insipid shit performance of any team I'd seen all year.
Since then, they've beaten Blues, smacked Geelong, belted Sydney, belted Melbourne. They're in some rare form and capable of beating anyone.

So much for Luke Beveridge being a shit coach whose time is up. The Bulldogs are coming together at just the right time.

I get that certain teams match up well on others, but the fact that Sydney and Essendon have been bogey sides for us (not withstanding the win a fortnight ago), are bunnies for Port yet we match up well against Port is just bizarre to me.
Never underestimate how much the VFL will push to get a Vic club in the GF.

I think if anything this year, you need to come into form when the finals series is starting. Teams like WB, Brisbane and Port are hitting too early, teams like Sydney, Carlton and GWS are in the zone at the moment

You watch..we beat port in the upcoming showdown to make it another clean sweep year and they go on to win the bloody flag..
If we beat them in the Showdown they won’t finish top 4 which means they won’t win the flag as they won’t win 3 games in a row away from home.

They aren’t a top 4 lock.
They still need to win 2 of 3 games.
Brisbane are a lock, Sydney only have to win 1 game given their %. Geelong have Saints and Eagles so they are a lock as well.
It will come down to the Showdown and the game against Freo for Port for top 4.
Bulldogs have us, North and GWS (in Ballarat). Even Carlton are still in top 4 calculations with Hawks, Eagles and Saints.
This is my ladder predictor.

I think Freo blew their chances with their massive choke yesterday.
The Giants have a tough run home but they do get Kelly and possibly Coniglio back this week. Their game against Brisbane should be a cracker.

This is the year to be a non Victorian in the 8 for sure. Big chance of playing off against another interstate side, and Carlton and Geelong are the only teams currently in the 8 who play regularly at the MCG (even if it's not their actual home).
