AFL and the umps have jumped the shark with this 'new strict interpretation' of high frees.

They've targeted one player to make an example of (rather than the handful that have made a career doing it), refuse to pay ANY high tackle against him, and have taken all responsibility away from the tackler not to get a player high.

It also ignores that a shrug, or lowering your body to make an evasive action, are all techniques used to evade or break a tackle.

Baffling decisions this year re umpiring.
Except no one has ever done it the way he does, nor every time he gets the ball, the game against us was an embarrassing display from him.

Jamie Elliot did what Hayden Ballantyne could not do EXACTLY 11 years ago (July 24 2011). Maybe the Pies can steal an unlikely flag if they keep winning games like this. Sent over 70,000 berserk. Beware Geelong.

Unlike Adelaide during 2003-2009. We could rarely win a game like this.

Serves him right, he's owed about 30 not paid, high tackles.
Make players think twice about regularly acting for frees.

The AFL should have had this approach for the last decade to rub out actors.

Brad Crouch big day out 31 disposals 18 kicks 13 handballs 8 clearances 11 tackles 5 marks 359 metres gained 5 score involvements.

West Coast looking super competitive against the Saints, no way we're beating them over there.
West Coast lost at home to the Saints by about the same margin we lost away to the better Swans.

Think we are better, but they should be favoured at home.

Tim Kelly played 80% game time for 4 touches

I was about to post that I’ve never seen a game where so many players are tapping the ball to the advantage of teammates. Not in the ruck but in general play. And then bang, in the goal square an Ess player slaps the ball to a teammate who kicks the goal.

It’s really smart footy. Something we don’t do often enough nor as well as other teams.

We seem to take possession of the ball and get tackled when a simple knock on would be so much more advantageous.

It’s a trend in the way good teams move the ball and something we should emulate.

I wanna speak to the manager!!
We used to do that in 16/17.

Even worse, we take possession and get tackled immediately yet despite no danger of holding the ball, we will try and dispose, fail to do so correctly and get pinged incorrect disposal.

If I had a dollar..

You would be able to pay out some contracts.... ?

Daniel Talia at the footy the other night

Jamie Elliot is Collingwood’s Wayne Milera - Talented but slowed down by repeated injury.

He’s still managed to have a pretty impactful career, here’s hoping Milera can do something similar.

Jamie Elliott has always been a gun. I can't stand the guy but on talent, he's miles ahead of Milera.
He delivers. Milera only promises.

How can you call it abuse when the poor bastard did a calf, and a groin, and cramped up a bit and had full body cramps and couldn't move...

Ah you miss my point, lots of media were saying Richmond played the system, Port's played it all year and crickets......
