Why does the top team in Geelong not get the Fri night, and therefore more recovery time during the finals weeks?

If they lose to Cwd they will be on a shorter break than their opponents at some point if they make it to GF.

There will be 65k Cwd, 30k Geel fans in the house, Geel will be nervous.

Sorry for invading your board, however I’d like to ask you guys about Don Pyke? He’s one of the options Essendon are having a look at. Obviously the situation that happened in the camp has dragged his name a bit in the mud, but what was he like as a coach overall, did he trust upon young players, how was his defensive set up, how was he in the selection table after a bad performance, would he make drastic changes or did he back in the boys?
