FR0GGY did you hear there is a Thursday night game?Just getting in early. If Port lose to Richmond Thursday night that will virtually end Port's season as they will be virtually three games out of the top 8. Given its a Thursday night game, that gives them an opportunity to move on Hinkley.

I doubt Port will sack Hinkley... until at least the end of the season.
I'd love to win the round 23 showdown to knock them out of finals.Port won't sack Hinkley but once finals is out of the equation I can see him walking. I'd be surprised if Port fall out of finals contention and Hinkley stays on. We will know in the next 5 weeks if Port are a genuine shot.

Give me small ones that can play over anyone that can’t.Small ones at that
Would think Gray would be in his last year any way. When Hinkley goes I can see Gray and Boak retiring rather than bother with a new coach
I know their our fiercest oppo but these two have been brilliant for the game and their club. Much respect for them. When Hinkley goes I can see Gray and Boak retiring rather than bother with a new coach
Injured all year I believe.Surprised me a bit that he didn’t play a few games for them, given their lack of quality forwards. Even limited minutes just to provide some leadership and on-field development for the young kids. Must have been well and truly cooked.
That's been my point all along.Give me small ones that can play over anyone that can’t.
Agree but the team needs a mix and not 12 short blokes and 6 really tall blokes. The players we need to weed out are players such as Rowe, McHenry, Murphy who are limited short footballers who don't kick enough goals or impact the game. Ogilvie has a penchant for short mids. We definitely need a couple of 6'4 skilled mids with some pace. We lack athleticism as well in most of our talls. In short we need a new head of recruiting and director of football/list management.Give me small ones that can play over anyone that can’t.
They're like the Port of a few years ago. They play the millionaire football where they destroy bad teams and look unstoppable when everything is on their terms, but when challenged they fall apart.Brisbane are soft as butter, it’s no wonder they can’t win a final. Their game plan doesn’t hold up under finals like pressure. Classic great Regular season team, finals flops.
They play exactly like we did. Mids all run ahead of the contest assuming we will win the ball. When we do, we look amazing - players running everywhere, forwards on fire etc...They're like the Port of a few years ago. They play the millionaire football where they destroy bad teams and look unstoppable when everything is on their terms, but when challenged they fall apart.
Give me small ones
That disappointing for you?Not often you hear that
