Was just watching some footage of the showdown on first crack and hornes' effort is deplorable. I don't think he's even happy at port.

Bizarre. Weren’t they celebrating Carr’s “homecoming” in the preseason.

A VIC coach from a successful team… Hmm, well I know of a recently successful VIC team that actually has someone assisting who has coached a premiership in his own right. Port Power fans might know him, since after all the premiership in question is the one and only that they have ever won 🤣

One of their posters did actually say “Bring back Choco!”

This competition is broken. Logue 1 game, McAdam 3.

Just saw footage of Newcombe, for starters he and the other Hawks player drive McDonald to the ground head first, then he grabs his arm and chicken wings him, he could have broken his arm or popped his shoulder.

It seems “potential” for injury was only relevant against McAdam.

Then Pedlar, good tackle, yes Houston ends up face first, there wasn’t two motions and he didn’t drive him hard, he held back. No concussion test, played on. “Medium” impact. Get ****ed

Houston drove that tackle and lunged forward trying to break it. The Crows should appeal because Pedlar did nothing wrong. At some point you have to blame the player being tackled for the motion of the tackle. If anything, the MRO simply has no idea and is outright guessing.

Thanks, found it. Talk footy without all the crap, didn’t mind it. Hope we win more games to make it worth watching!
Annoyed king didn’t go hard on logue like he did on Mcadam especially since he went past the ball, he’s usually red hot on ALL head hits

Gee that doesn't look good. I didn't notice it live.

Doesn't match what I remember in his juniors re defensive efforts.
It was a constant last year too, reckon there’s some vision in his thread on our board of him giving up mid play if he didn’t get the ball, had never seen anything like it.

Some pretty ordinary vision of JHF jogging (even slower maybe) on sat night.
On the first crack.
There was clear vision of him doing it the week before too and was evident in games last year. I think everyone believes he will be a long term gun, but this is an aspect of his game that needs to improve.

They showed vision on First Crack of Nick Holman at the Suns having 2 or 3 efforts in a row against Geelong where he would come from 30-40 metres away to apply pressure and eventually got a HTB decision his way after applying a tackle. Putting those type of efforts in doesn't require you to be a star, so it's surely something you can help JHF with.
