Or do they follow a crows of 2012 type script.
Crap first week, bounce back in a poorly attended home game, then take it right up to the premiership favourites on the G.
I’ll take the elimination this week to be safe.

No conflict. Straight sets is the ultimate.I'm conflicted
A loss this weekend .. or good game and a narrow win followed by being pantsed on the G by Collingwood the following weekend
I know finlayson didn’t do much last week , but I’d play him ahead of Dixon. Players playing against their old side always play well
This would explain why I had offers from Tickettek for $50 family passes LOL
Think of the spin if they make a prelim though .. tanker loads of bathwater. Free drinks for everyoneCan’t win the flag if you don’t make the prelim
Huge part of the Power's PR strategy is telling everyone they are a big club, that they are a great team, that they are relevant.
Just keep hammering it home.
This strategy falls apart if they again fail to even reach a grand final.
'Fake it til you make it' - doesn't really work if you never make it.
My favourite part is how they are the family club and they look after their players like no club does....except when you pass your usedby date and then your out on your arse. Like Boak.
That’s the part I don’t get, they’ve shafted plenty of their own players and yet they still love the club, don’t get it. Is Ken a cult?My favourite part is how they are the family club and they look after their players like no club does....except when you pass your usedby date and then your out on your arse. Like Boak.

imagine that..lol What about their pet memberships - could a few cats, dogs and rabbits fill the emptiesTarp time?
Gee how many journos do the Port Power have on their payroll?

Idk how anyone can turn their nose up at what they’re doing with Boak… if they really are trying to let him down easy, most of us wish this club had the backbone to do the same thing with Sloane
If Boak does retires we’ll all be envious… and he’s twice the player Sloane was LOL so our decision will look even more gross. Boak does seems like someone you’d want to keep around at a club though
I’m seeing the exact same rhetoric from pear supporters too: “it’s his right to choose when his time’s up”… he’s a champ but he’s literally 35 years old
Everybody wants to be a Pendlebury it seems but it’s just not realistic
I thought they are doing the same as us and letting Boak decide but said if you don't think you can play 22 games then you should retire but it'll still be Boak's decision. To play on or notIsn't Boak on record saying he wants to play til he's 40?
Yeah, that's not happening.

Dixon is a great inclusion.......for GWS.Dixon is a good inclusion but confident the Giants can get the job done.
Triple M just reported there’s still over 15,000 tickets unsold for Saturday nights game.
Port fans jumping off the bandwagon in droves.
