Triple M just reported there’s still over 15,000 tickets unsold for Saturday nights game.

Port fans jumping off the bandwagon in droves.
Yeah someone on the Port board said that they've sold just over 30k tickets.

Pretty embarrassing when the 'Aints can pull 68k to their final against GWS and Port are struggling to pull 35k after finishing 3rd.

It feels like the Port supporters have already put up the white flag and given up on the season.

Given the poor ticket salea no wonder they're now trying to give them away.

Nah, I think they have a big issue with ex players behind the scenes. We saw first hand the anger from Schulz when concussion protocols were ignored. They talk the talk, but im not convinced at all thats the truth behind the scenes.

I think there was some adverse comment from Sam Skinner (or his partner?) as well.

Sports media heavyweight Craig Hutchison’s Sports Entertainment Network posted a $9.2m loss last financial year, the Herald Sun reports.
The loss comes as financial documents filed with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission state that the Commonwealth Bank, with whom SEN have taken out a $28.7m line of credit, is entitled to recover “immediate settlement” of the loan.

Hutchison reportedly earned a $500,000 bonus in the last financial year according to the Herald Sun, which brought his 2022 income to almost $1.5 million

I wouldn't read too much into MCG finals numbers, about half of the stadium is reserved for the MCC and AFL members, I would guess the Saints portion was about half or so for the non-tenants.

Media companies getting into the business of buying sports franchises. Seems like a good way to burn money.

This board is looking forward to Saturday night more than the Port board!!

I mean let's be honest, Port should win. They're favourites for a reason and in all likelihood we will have tight sphincters next week hoping Collingwood don't **** it up.

But boy oh boy a loss tomorrow night is unfathomable for Port. The lolz if it happens would be too much for me that I may die

I'm not a fan of Hutchy but SEN does cover some local content and employ people locally so I hope the station keeps going.

Look at that centre line and on ball of GWS. Surely they ain't having a second quiet game at AO. The only think that beats them imo is if port bring greater intensity for the full game

Reckon Port are a bit banged up to be bringing full intensity for the whole game. It will mainly depend on whether Dixon's gopher has new batteries and if McKenzie's crutches can support his ankle long enough without snapping under the strain of full intensity.

I don't blame Penbo and Will as they don't want to alienate their audience.
But on Fiveaa this morning they are really pandering to the poor Port people not going to the footy. Talking about cost of tickets when you can get a family pass for $50.
