Even though I think Tredrea is only doing it to help himself I do like that they have some ex players pushing for a spot. He will get in easily. Abba doesn't have the support.

I'd like to see that with us. We have plenty of former players put up their hand for employment when they need a job but not for the board.

Seem to remember he worked with Tex a bit in the early days, but I don't think that was official in any way, just a big forward trying to help a big forward. From memory it really helped Tex.

So I noticed the promo shots and videos for the AFL are based on where the team is located and Adelaide did theirs next to the colonel light statute looking over Adelaide and I thought oh that's pretty cool, and I just saw a video of Port's and they are doing theirs in Port Adelaide and they are legit standing in the Port river.

Will be interesting to see if Essendon do theirs in Essendon, Carlton in Carlton and so on. Pretty cool Idea instead of the usual black room with strobe lights.
