I watched O'Meara in his under age year in the NEAFL. Did it all as a midfielder and absolutely dominated as a 17 year old. Was destined for multiple Brownlow's and becoming one of the very best in the league in my mind. Not sure if his knee injuries are the sole reason, or if circumstance also impacted, with the clubs he's been at during down periods. But has certainly not delivered on his potential that's for sure.
