She was one of those too talented for another club not to try and pounce on. Also her injuries with us may have played a big part in her wanting a change of scenery. If she can stay injury free, has the potential to be an elite mid/forward like Erin. We could do with one of those types right now..It was because she was a massive Geelong fan, plus the contract offer would've been decent.

Looks like the Roo might get 4th spot if they win, and Brisbane beat the pies.
It is technically possible for us to finish top 2, but it would require one of Melbourne or Brisbane to get hammered to bring their percentage down. Realistically, not gonna happen.
At this stage I have more faith in us beating Melbourne than Brisbane. I think Melbourne are just a high quality side who will try to beat us on their merits, whereas Brisbane seems like a "smart" side who will implement a game plan to beat us. That said, I struggle to see us beating either of them, especially away.

Couldn't happen to a better club, but I tend to agree. No complaints from the players.
Both Houghton and Phillips looked like they thought it went through, but what can you really do if the umpire says it's a behind, you can't get up in their face and get them to change their mind
So what happened? Did the umpire think it was touched, or that it just missed?
