I have no issue with players getting sanctioned for the Wacky Wednesday. Sure it was meant to be in private. But they have it drummed into them around appropriate behaviours including racism and sexism. They have AFLW Teams. Times have changed. I posted some pictures earlier from past end of year celebrations and some of those were probably laughed at and no player suspended. Probably a telling off for the demon players. Not sure about the cats players. I don’t know how much education if any players got back then.

Crazy to think this country is enduring a violence against women epidemic yet so many people think making rape and sexual assault jokes is ok.

Would heartily recommend discussing this topic with the women in your lives to gain a better understanding of why 'silly jokes' and dressing up as sexual offenders actually impacts them.

I feel this game is over hyped. He had a great game but I would say it was something special.



Just highlights I know it doesn't show much. But a goal from a blocking free. Second good mark in the pocket but shit defending from Geelong. He also almost missed from pretty close. His third was the best going back at the flight of the ball. Some nice work marks around the ground. Maybe I'm being too negative but not sure his game was special.

Weids problem was even though he was touted as a strong mark coming into AFL he double grabbed everything (And sometimes really found it hard to get into a game). Factor that in with his lack of competitiveness and I'm surprised he even lasted this long.

Remember that game against Adelaide in 2019 when he had a pretty regulation shot to win the game? You just knew he was never getting near it.

Was there it happened right in front of me. Mind you the entire team shat the bed in the last quarter. 1.8 to 5.2. Melbourne kicked 3.12 in the second half, very typical Melbourne fade in 2019.

My mind goes to 2022 game against essendon. Missed an absolute sitter from directly in front and then kicked a beauty from the boundary very similar to Dom Sheed. As legs pointed out was a confidence thing. No expectation to kick it so he nailed it.
