So anyone heard much about this Adelaide thing? People on the main board saying that Choco Williams has been on the radio over there going on about players being tied naked to trees and Jacobs being harassed about his dead brother. Could be a good indication of why McGovern wants out.

Yep,they are actually building a pretty good midfield but if neale goes for pick 4 you can almost guarantee a king brother is heading their way. Without neale tho their midfield looks a hell of a lot less impressive

Very hard to know what's fact and what's fiction regarding this camp and as much as my distrust of the media makes me think there's a fair bit of BS been written it's a story that doesn't want to die

McGovern wanting out 1 year into a 3 year deal isn't a great sign and the crows were definitely only a shadow of the side that made a GF last season

In fairness it should also be pointed out that Sloane turned his back on lucrative offers to return to Victoria and re-signed during the year

It's going to be very interesting to see what comes out when some of these guys start retiring or get delisted. From what I've read about that group running the camp not much would surprise me, there's a few articles online written by journo's who've gone to their camps in the UK. Definitely seems like something has gone horribly wrong with their culture there.

TBH "Collective Minds" has a definite cultish sound to it and not something I'd be too willing to sign up to

This shits me about the modern player. Want all the benefits of player freedom of movement, happy to sign long term contracts citing "security' yet up and bail the moment it suits them.

If you want freedom of movement, fine. Clubs however should be able to ship your ass off the moment it suits them as well, gotta work both ways.

McGovern 100% going to Carlton so past player and commentator Mark Maclure reckons , he seems to still have links to Carlton . Freo would have to offer something pretty damn good you would think to even enter the equation .
