We apparently had a shithouse midfield but we won a flag. Yeah k cheers.

It was pretty pedestrian. Consistently lost clearances and barely laid tackles. However, our game plan compensated for it. We kicked and marked our way to victory. No more Weagles Web, it's Kick it to the Talls.

So all those years of yelling “just kick it” finally paid off hey :D

“Obviously I do want to play in finals and flags, but at this stage it was more important to get back around my family and friends, and have a fresh start.”

What a needless burn on your new club. Just say being home was extremely important to you, you don’t need to freely offer up that you’re nowhere near a flag.

"I'm not interested in success. That's why I came to Fremantle."

My nan is feeling very vindicated and yet still livid that after 20 years people insist on getting up and moving during the game.

Apparently countless 'under the breath' remarks and very audible sighs aren't getting the job done.

Harsh, sounds like he's bought right into the culture, what more can you ask for?

Gotta admire his honesty

More pressure on freo next season. Won’t be able to hide behind their endless excuses and 6 year rebuild
It’s about time the WA media stopped treating them like a protected species

I think it’s called manners? Some people go to watch the football.

Yeah you’re going to miss massive amounts of the game to stand up for 3 seconds and let someone go past  I sat on the aisle at subi for 23 seasons, and have the aisle at OS too so I know what it’s like to have to stand up to let people through, and honestly, it doesn’t bother me. Some people are too precious and aggro

It doesn’t bother me if it’s a couple of times, but the people we sat down wind from last season would get up four times in a quarter.

Seriously, if you want to drink that much, just go watch the footy at the pub. Or stand in one of the bars at the ground. It is ****ing annoying and I am a pretty tolerant person with most things.

Not too tolerant by the sound of things:rolleyes:. It's all part of going to the footy mate - may not be ideal but you only have two choices?
