Doesn’t the fact that Duggan is out with concussion answer the second critical element?

Look, my non-lawyer and by extension less intelligent brain would think the fact that Duggan got injured with a concussion would illustrate that the conduct was not only likely to cause injury, but actually did cause injury.

I dunno, that's just me though. 🤷‍♂️

"Whilst we accept that the Tribunal found the conduct to be unreasonable, which is one element of the offence, it completely failed to consider the second critical element of the offence: that is, whether the conduct was likely to cause injury."

Oh what a wonderful world.
So Harley gets 2 weeks for potential to cause injury, with no injury. but Cameron gets off because the tribunal didn’t consider whether the action was likely to cause injury, so he gets off even though the action did in fact injure.

This game is cooked.

Insane - who are these people?

Do they know what happened or is their bubble too hard to see through?

Actually damning on the AFL that they put together a tribunal without ensuring the members know the process to follow to discharge their duty to arrive at a decision.

Laura Kane being a lawyer should have this obligation down pat.

Comedy Central is the AFL.

Had we appealed Reid’s suspension we’d have failed because he was suspended because his actions were likely to cause injury

Cameron and Bedford got off because even though their actions did cause injury, the tribunal didn’t consider how their actions had the potential to cause injury

A normal person would think that was unnecessary since the action actually caused injury

But here we are

It’s absurd

It's absurd when you think about how much money these people are getting paid and how utterly incompetent they are.

Idk Joe Biden is the President of America and can’t remember the last time he took a sh1t never mind run one of the most powerful countries in the world and his challenger is Trump…..Nothing should surprise these days.

V Cameron’s driving motion?

On iPad using BigFooty.com mobile app
Is a driving motion actually in the rules? You would think Cameron’s tackle is the definition of a driving motion.

If it’s not specified in the rules then you can seemingly do anything that’s not caught by a rule and if concussions result
- well that’s just bad luck.

Jumping at someone front on like Cameron did and following through until their head hits the ground will result in a concussion more often not so the AFL will do something about it because I do think they are concerned about concussion.

They could call it ‘Cameron’s Rule’. The less Cameron gets the ball the more he attacks the opposition.
