I'd suggest Essendon relocate up to Darwin, but I'm not sure a team called the Darwin Bombers would be appropriate.

Better than what they were once called - the blood stained n*****s

In fact, why are they where they are on the ladder?
Because as soon as they step on a plane they forget how to play football.

They’re tending in the right direction but they should be playing finals with their list and the amount of handouts they’ve had.

Gone blank.

Has anyone ever kicked a goal after the siren to beat us?

I know Ray Windsor kicked a goal to draw v us in 92 but any losses?

We have, however, won three games with kicks after the siren:

N. Naitanui vs North Melbourne - Round 8, 2013
L. Shuey vs Port Adelaide - 1EF, 2017
J. McGovern vs Port Adelaide - Round 21, 2018

And one to draw after the siren:

A. Sampi vs Western Bulldogs - Round 11, 2003

The connection between midfield and attack, and retention of possession in their forward half has been woeful.

Their lack of pace off half back also makes it very hard for them to break through opponents that are well organised defensively.

But perhaps most of all, they lack genuine on-field leadership from players who know what success is, the standards that are required in key moments, and know how to dig in and provide confidence to others when opposition momentum is against them.

Address those above areas and they can become a top 4 side as soon as next year.

Not only did he hit the post he ran off his line and should have been called 'play on' before he kicked it.
So hitting the post was some karma anyway. But umpire should have blown the whistle for game the moment he ran off his line to improve the angle and reduce the distance.

Thought similar.
Then wondered what they could've nabbed when clubs came looking last year.
Probably similar to us with Gaff, might have got circa pick 2 at the right time.

Saw the end of the GC/Ess game, only just saw the Gresham thing. Clear in the back.
He went full Hayden Ballantyne, off on his own merry way.
