Quite the contrary, actually.

He is an emerging player and while I am disappointed that we were not able to entice him West, I am encouraged that we at least recognised an opportunity to see if we could tempt him with a significantly high offer.
We were by no means the only Club that made him sizeable offers, but ultimately he is settled where he is and in a winning Culture and I dare say GWS have needed to open their purse strings to keep him.

With the coin that GWS would have had to match, I strongly suspect that one of, if not both, Perryman and Cumming are going to be wearing a different coloured jumper next season.
