Given how the jungle drums are already beating about how "family focused" Reid is (read, "Draft me away from Vic and I'm done after my mandatory two") I reckon they'll pick split - two bites of the cherry inside the top 10 is a much safer bet given the position they're in as well.

IIRC this years draft is supposed to be damn good so having 2 top 10 picks is much better than just the one for a team in their position.

They say that every year this far out and then when the draft comes closer it suddenly becomes more shallow than any draft in years.

Re signing Gaff, NicNat, McGovern to long term lucrative deals is the problem now

I have heard the opposite. The top eight or so are great, but there's a cliff face after that.

Priority picks aint what they used to be.....at best it's a pick at the end of the first round now.
