Looking like a very soft game at the moment, Lions players giving chase at 70% at times.
Scary seeing Gawn everywhere, such an imposing player
He is sitting a kick down the play, the reason he was a non factor last time we played is we aren't kicking blindly long down the line like we did in 2021.

Last thing we need tonight is a blowout give me a close one where I'm changing my mind every 10 minutes on who I want to win.

Oddly this game is kind of playing out like Geelong Vs Collingwood first quarter. Can they actually lift though?
I thought Geelong still played with some pressure though, Collingwood pressure was immense but I didn't think we were putrid. Brisbane are offering nothing.

If the lions can play like the last 5 minutes of the first quarter for the next 3, then there’s some hope of a close game. I’m not sure they’ve got it in them though.

Hopefully we can lower the eyes, the worry is always if Melb apply the heat to the ball carrier players feel obligated to bomb it long into the Gawn area. Gawn becomes a larger factor in finals like pressure games

Brissy midfield taking a bath, wish Neale would step up to his usual, but early days.
I loathe Melbourne, come on Bris Vegas.

They were up and about last time we played and we didn't, we are really smart with ball use, and on top of that we take the 45 a long and use the Geelong Hwy so it avoids Gawn.
