Magpies just too good, teams are starting to panic in the last quarter against them if it's reasonably close because of the reputation they have built in close finishes.

I still think falling behind regularly is not a good habit to get into... come finals you are a lot less likely to come back against the better sides, as was proven in last years finals when they lost 2 close finals against the Cats and Swans.

These miracle Collingwood wins are staring to get on my nerves.

Still, the Crows well and truly got the rub of the green with the umpiring and shat the bed.

Crows lost that as much as the Pies won it.

We are the only side that has beaten them and we did it by keeping our nerve when we had a good lead at 3/4 time.

Then we won the last quarter as well.

Get experience, gain wisdom, end up with poise under pressure, win like that. Stole that off Sam Presti but applicable to the Pies.

Crows will feel terrible but not such a bad loss for them. Plenty to work on there but tough part of the draw for them now. Rated about right.

I think other teams just stop running and let Collingwood come over the top based of reputation
They went into their shells just like Essendon did last week.

Literally can’t see how anybody could possibly beat this Collingwood team
Poor tactics from Crows. Its like Fagan said, if you are brave and keep coming forward to meet them, you'll have your chances. If you retreat and pull back then Pies will keep coming hard.
Weirdly Nicks dropped Dawson back loose giving Pies extra around the ball. That's the last thing they should've done to a forward running team like Pies. Hand the ball over at outnumbered contest and letting them have a ping. Madness.

Nice tactics. Have you considered how BRAVE Collingwood are in your analysis?

There is a big element of bluff with Collingwood.

Two weeks in a row, their opponents have looked like they believe all the hype, so this "belief" by Collingwood feeds off the insecurity of the other side. I'm even happier now with our position, especially as we didn't cave in the last quarter but indeed won it when we played them. And that was coming off that disappointing loss to the Dogs the week before

Officiating was diabolical against Collingwood as well.

The game turned when fly put on his giant puffer jacket that is about 5 sizes too big and makes him look like a child.

Puffer Jacket strat is hard to combat in modern footy.

Did not seen the game.
The Crows lost clearances by a huge amount 46 to 25. Center 11-6, Stoppage 35-19.
That is a massive difference to overcome.

Yeah but they kicked like 3-11 to Collingwood 0-2.

They should have been up by about 50 points.

Like i said, did not see the game but bad kicking is bad football.
But losing that many clearances the Crows must have been under some sort of pressure elsewhere on the field.

I don't have the stats to see how many goals the Pies kicked from stoppage clearances.
Pies only scored 8 goals in total so it most likely is a low number anyhow.

A shame the Crows lost as it would have been great to see 6 teams equal 1st going into round 8.
