went to melbourne v gws today. the crowd was bitterly disappointing. like appallingly bad. melbourne supporters i was with were describing how much they hate their supporter base and the how fairweather they are. think melbourne's success being in covid seasons has impacted how many they are drawing through now that they are struggling.

made it all the more clear to me brisbane need an upgraded stadium to accomodate a growing supporter base. being able to fill a stadium in the good times is how you develop rusted on fans who will continue to show up in the bad times. a greater capacity stadium can only be a good thing for us.
