Does anyone seriously believe that Footscray broke the rules of the game 19 times more than Collingwood?

I only saw the end, but in that period the pies also got away with 3 blatant frees. De Goey push in the back, Daicos running it over the line and taking the legs of the dogs player on the ground. So take it up to 36-14

Blues much better tonight.
The Blues were indeed much better on Thursday night, and played much closer to a full four quarters.

And they were still terrible. Absolutely terrible. Hawthorn played them like a cat with a ball of string. Didn't even need to bother kicking a sealer.

get ready for a david king masterclass on first crack this week. collingwood to be labelled the 'kings of clutch' and every blatant free kick they give away will be labelled as an act of brilliance in running down the clock.

Is this a secret weapon for the Pies d’ya think Joey? Look at Nick Daicos there, he knows exactly what he’s doing when he steps over the boundary line.

What a moneyball innovation from the pies!

That is laughable.
So I only caught the final few minutes on a TV in a Caxton St pub on the way home from the Broncos, and even in the last minute of the game, ball in dispute at half forward for the dogs, 2 on 2, one collingwood player pushed one dogs player fair in the back with both hands, and the other one slid straight into the knees of the other bulldogs player. Play on of course.

Wasn't until later that I heard about the free kick count. I shouldn't be surprised I guess. And I'm not really. Maybe only that it was against the bullies who have also been quite the umpires pets over the last 9 years.

Friday night footy has just got worse this year. King on Kayo and BT on 7. It is a painful watch on either platform. Just missing Kellie Underwood to make it totally unbearable.

That Beoncs game was scrappy, happy to get the win.

It’s going to be a long year for this tigers team but scoring 70 odd today away is a good effort. Usually you’d expect to see a team like this gone done and only score 40odd.
