Sick of seeing this shit side Carlton on a Thursday and Friday night. Only 2 more losses and they are back to a Saturday game. Joke of a side.

He was pidgeon holed as a defensive on baller with us, a role he was excellent at, and I suspect we felt he was expendable as we had Rowie, who was younger and fitter. An unfortunate mistake which many would argue wasn't even in hindsight.I see George Hewett sometimes, his contested possessions, and shake my head as to what could have been. No sign of those back problems.
I did and would definitely argue that. I remember the "surplus to requirements" talk and how the game has changed, that more dynamic, faster, offensive minded types were needed for the future, where contested, defensive stuff wasn't as important. He was pidgeon holed as a defensive on baller with us, a role he was excellent at, and I suspect we felt he was expendable as we had Rowie, who was younger and fitter. I love and miss George..I see George Hewett sometimes, his contested possessions, and shake my head as to what could have been. No sign of those back problems.
We were going to de-list him. He was not in Horse's plans. I thought it a bad move at the time and it has actually proved so. He is a mid that does the hard grunt, like Rowie. You need two of them, we only have one and one in the reserves, Gus. But he is a bigger unit and stronger than Gus. He was sensational last night and always plays well and is used as a pure mid not a tagger. Longmire just couldn't see it. He only saw him as a tagger and yet if you looked at his history with us, he was better as a pure mid, his disposals were always much higher. He was pidgeon holed as a defensive on baller with us, a role he was excellent at, and I suspect we felt he was expendable as we had Rowie, who was younger and fitter. Angus Sheldrick was playing for Claremont when George exercised his free agency rights. We were going to de-list him. He was not in Horse's plans. The two worst list decisions, getting rid of Mummy and Hewett. Mummy was angry. He never wanted to leave but due to the Buddy deal he got pushed out. Hewie didn't want to leave either. But Horse wanted him out and with Mummy as long as Horse had Buddy he reckoned he didn't need Mummy. That worked out welll didn't it, The Great Saviour didn't win us a Premiership. As much as I admired Buddy as a player, his contract was always going to be a restriction on us getting other top end talent or being able to pay developing juniors what they were worth.
It’s embarrassing how inconsistent and subpar the umpiring is on a regular basis
Collingwood doesn’t appear to have a match up for him**** Darcy is gonna be good
