Having played them on the weekend, they gave a much better show than last year! Will be middle of the road this year with a few to still come back in the side I'm told. Must be staying off the grog this year, unlike there cricket.

The only decent player in the Boort side is Craig Rut's. Good bet for the Feeny.

Ferrier/Reid/Bartram are just good honest goers!

As for Whyche being the crappest side, they have more flags than us and probably alot more than you (How many exactly have Boort won?)

Hey smash stay on track mate.... I agree wychie wont be completely useless but surely you think they will struggle against boort. boort seem to have a decent mix of talls, runners and genuine ball getters which will make it very hard for wychie to cover them all.
Heard a lot about wychies lack of key forwards smasher, how did their backline go? who goes well down there?

Cmon now hitlar, Bex is the first to admit he has been in his sides best 10 players in the first 3 games. Just had kicked a few lucky goals. Might get 5 kicks and kick 2 or 3.

How come there were so many young players blooded this week? Where were the likes of Berry and Funcke?

Heard Ross Funcke was in blistering form later on in the night and involved in a bit of a "wrestle"!!

Hey bend it l bet u don't kick three this week on Craigy or will you not turn up like the cricket game this year against Birchip

I reckon if Craigy plays which ever forward he gets is a great bet to kick a bag. I wouldnt mind lining up on craigey. He is gettin a bit slow in his old age, and the silver hairs dont do much for him either.

Donald had 5 out, Todd Bird (permit player), Bez, Lee Funcke, leigh nunn and Brad Burke.

With a few more injuries addedto that this week and its unlikely that none of thos players will return this week.

The Saints New recruits:

Cua - very slow, would be interested to see him play in the 2's as he would fit in rather well there.

Holmes- to slow for fb, seen him have 18 goals kicked on him in 2 weeks. Probably should be at CHB.

Dowley - the better of the recruits, good speed should use this to get himself to auskick on Sunday to learn how to kick.

While I agree with your comments about the boys faults you could look at it this way also

Cua - against birchip 15-20 possesions 2 goals 3 points in a pocket
Holmes- who hasnt Ryan kicked a bag on - and they did kick 29 goals
Dowley- best on ground for the saints by a mile

I think the expectation was the saints would have these new ballarat boys as marquee players, but my understanding is none of them are on more than $100 a game, and they have all been in the best at least once so far, give them time to gel together and with the team and results could be suprising

Yes I'd say Boort will be too strong for Wyche but I was stating they'd be more competitive this year unlike what we both seen last year. (Was really only sticking up for them in that they are up there as probably the No. 1 club in the league - history proves that!) That idiot Snatcher might have to check up on his history, as Boort have had only one good year in the past 15 which didn't even result in a premiership.

Boort do have a good mix but I think there depth is very questionable. Agree?

As for the Demons forwards and backs, not too sure on many of the names but their backline was solid while the forward line really struggled to have much of an impact!

WELL WELL! good to see a loud mouth who knows nothing. the quote" crapiest side there ever was and ever will be" i dont know how old you are mate but i can remember handing out some absolute thumpings to boort in all grades of football. however i never remember a member from our side sprooking about it! its nice to see boort have some success in recent years but the way you blokes carry on about it on this site you would think boort had a history like Wycheproof- Narraport, you are all raving on about for smasher to reveal himself, i wouldnt mind you all naming yourself to see the names behind these large mouths/ keyboards. lets get this site back to talkin bout football an tryin not bag the p!ss out of everyone

MoR, great to see you flying your teams colours, I am dying to find out how D.Needs is going? Is name has been linked to a couple of sides down here (Ballarat) for along time but could never get him. How long does he have left, i think if St A keep producing the form of last 3 years he may be chance to move down, Your thoughts?

From what i can take of it, hes a local boy, who loves playing for his club. He has been the best long term player we have had in a while, and id doubt he will go anywhere.

Dowley could be put on a par with boyington (brearleys that much ahead)

Holmes/Wilson/Hyndman/Cua all will make impacts as they find their feet in the club
