read in the geelong paper the other day a quote by Dale Amos saying that he is planning on staying at South Barwon and trying to keep as many of their players as possible. I doubt that he will be heading to St Arnaud

Isn't that where young Wilson from Boort is running around? how did he go this season? Did he manage to break through to the VFL Geelong reserves

Re: North Central Football League

Roc's BigFooty Awards, 2007

• Best and Fairest - Gerta. He only posts seriously, and rarely is wrong
• Most informative - Bend It, must be something to do with the rub off from O'Shea/Letts :)
• Biggest B*llSh*t artist - Daisy Williams - took over from his mate Smasher100 from last year!
• Biggest breaking story - Daisy Williams for openly coming out and saying "The Charlton FC's off field antics looks alot like that of the West Coke Eagles" (or something along those lines)
• most Disciplined - This award couldn't be split, one goes to Bend It, and another, to Gerta, both stayed on topic, and resisted temptation to blast a few others who obviously deserved it!
• Best first year - Ive decided go give a few awards out here, as there were a few who burst onto the scenes. Redragger and ohwhenthesaints
• Best in finals - BiG KInG - was good when the action was on, but has gone MIA since!
• Where are they now - God Of Flesh now resides in north western melbourne, and is believed to be suffering from "Pudjalitis" It is also believed that SuperBowlMVP has been infected with the same disease! It is also believed that this gu...ahhh these two guys will not be making a return to either the NCFL OR BigFooty next year.

Re: North Central Football League

Thanks Rocco.. I wouldn't really say i had a B&F performance, but there have been some fantastic highlights from the North Central Thread this year.
The Boort boys had a fantastic crack thru the middle of the year, but unfortunately their access to bigfooty became a bit restricted and they struggled a bit towards the end..
All in all a pretty good year.. Hopefully a few more blokes will figure out how to use a computer to look at something other than pr0n and get posting and give us some insight into whats going on in the North Central...

Have we had a team of the year this year??? Or didn't the Loddon Times or Buloke times do it this year??? Or is that slightly just before the League Dinner?

Brearley may be worthy of a game but not on the half back flank. No Aaron Walklake? Gash is an interesting one, in the leagues top 10-15 players within the league but with Andrews and him being similar style players maybe not possible to get them both on the ground at the same time. Forget his reputation, on performance Ross Funcke doesnt make it. Lee & Nelson on the bench? Both have had very good seasons, are very rarely if ever beaten by their opponent and are very highly regarded and respected.

Re: North Central Football League

My Boort bias coming out again....

No Rutley??
No Reid??
No Perryman??

Also take out Lloyd, Postle, Noonan

Re: North Central Football League

MOR... Heard a rumour that a few St Arnaud boys that attend Uni of Brat will be leaving for possibly Springbank next season?? Question: Does Brearley go to uni as his name was mentioned.

Re: North Central Football League

Brearley does go to uni ballarat, i heard a rumour he is going to springbank to assistant coach next year also. If he leaves the Saints it would be fair to say Boyington, Holmes, Wilson, Cua and Dowley will also follow him.
