A pretty solid first quarter against a team expected to make the top 8 this season. Shierlaw looks good, couyld be the CHF that makes all the difference for us this season. Tripodi, Gatt, Shannon all looked good.

We are passing it around a lot in the forward line - good practice and Shierlaw is getting better as the game goes on.

Our forward line looks a little scary, yet Randall hasn't really had the influence she would have liked.

The new girls that have come into the team have all added something new, Pullar on the wing has been very good, Shannon looks solid in defense and Tripodi looks a real talent, it's hard to believe she wasn't picked up earlier. A couple of Shierlaw's kicks haven't hit their attended target, but other than that she been the star for me, her marking, especially contested has been great.

Mia King is a beast in the middle, her combination with Garner and Riddell is going to be tough to beat this season and Bruton on the outside has been sensational. They made mention in the commentary that she is one of the most underrated players in the league, it's one of the understatements of the year, she is one of the most skillful players in the league and joy to watch.

A lot to like about how we play. Not sure if it's Crocker or because we are clearly the better side.
