Every club that has received a PP it has been their own fault. Hell Essendon got a #1 for drug cheating.
In saying that I don't really want one- they should have been scrapped years ago. There are other ways to assist clubs.

Even If they were bottom for another year they still wouldn’t get a PP. The AFL is pretty much done with PP’s. New franchise teams aside, established teams have to be beyond deplorable to get a PP. north are a long way off. Plus, the AFL are hardly going to reward mediocrity coming off the back of trading out quality players like Higgins and Brown. I’d say zero chance of a PP. I’d be surprised if they even apply this year.

I don't like priority picks period. The current draft system gives more than enough advantage without severe mismanagement.

That said, if other sides have gotten them in the past, Norf should get one now (assuming of course they continue to exist next season). They are as bad as any team has been in a long time.

Haven't Carltank been handed gift after after gift after gift only to completely stuff it up (20 years and counting) - only to get another gift? Still baffling how it was Melbourne that got outed for tanking when Cartlank just weren't any good at it, despite their best efforts (much like being a successful club again...)

Priority pick for North is a given and the club should be trumpeting it from the rooftops. No point being a Martyr any longer. the knives have been out for us or a long time and it's our turn to reap some rewards. Bring on the high draft picks!

The Dons have been banned from the first two rounds of this year's NAB AFL Draft. They will also lose picks in the first two rounds of the 2014 draft for their part in bringing the game into disrepute for the supplements scandal that has overshadowed this season.

We did however, trade Crameri to the Bulldogs for 2013 Pick 26 and drafted Zach Merrett with it.

Didn’t the AFL go to great lengths to explain the the original punishment was for lack of governance, there is no way you should have kept pick 1 after being suspended in the highest court for sport in the world

I think a great alternative for Power would be to relocate to Tasmania and play up their convict history. Might be a way for them to differentiate themselves from the other expansion clubs, and also allow some use of the "prison bars" without so directly ripping off the Pies.
