Yes I only watch the stats and our last 3 inside 50s I update 2 seconds later Freo had 3 shots each time. Are we just bombing it under pressure ?

Stevenson obviously the new whipping boy. Yeah he's made some mistakes but hard to name a single player on the field who hasn't.

Don't get me wrong I'm not suggesting he's been great. But some of you are sinking the boot in as if he's been atrocious.

Downright bizarre seeing us controlling the style and pace of play after having terms dictated almost every game over the last few years. Messy at times, some less-than-stellar moments from us, dried up in attack pretty quickly in that quarter, not sure we can sustain it for four quarters - yeah, sure, but let's not forget just how uncompetitive we were last season: dawn, finally, may be breaking. The platform is there, let's see what we can do in the second half.

What. Are you talking about. This chip game style is very very clearly the directive they've been given. The problem isn't the gameplan, it's the little moments where we've been out and then fumbled/blazed away/made the wrong choice

TBH didn't expect to be ahead at half time. Despite the fact I am yelling at the TV, very frustrated with many poor choices, we have done well.

The positive is the ball use from defence. Especially from kicks in, we are not just kicking 55m to a flank, we are actually pin pointing short passes and breaking down their zone. It’s once we get it forward of centre that we are letting ourselves down.

Our zone/press is holding up really well.

I’m a bit worried that when Walters comes into the game that he’ll be the spark they need.

I wouldn’t be against bringing in Howe very early in the 3rd quarter for one of Taylor or Stephenson. Howe much more physical than the two of them, and this looks like it’s going to be a grind to the death.
