This was one of the more important wins in our recent history. The entire club really needed this one. Just to revive the pulse. It was also the first meaningful win (where both teams genuinely tried to win the game) since round 2 last season at the same venue. A long time between drinks.

Now that we finally broke though, it is now up to the coaches to bottle this spirit and to push for 4-5 wins as a minimum for the season. It's not impossible. Plenty of winnable games if we are up and about for 4 quarters.

Should have really iced this game and not allowed them such easy goals in the last quarter. But once they got in front, it is priceless for the belief of this group to be able to wrestle it back when it looked gone.

The next lesson is to learn how to go on with it and run away with the win if we are on top.

Also wouldn't surprise me if Clarko gave Yeo 4, given his praise of him in the post match.

It's part of the job. What these twats say on TV is not related to what they actually think - it's a job to make them and their employer $$$$. It's a ploy to get you worked up, post, watch, listen and click... Seems to have worked in your case.

In this instance, find a call to make 'controversial' at the end of the game. That gives the vacuous TV and radio talk back shows content for the next week to dissect in the absence of any meaningful analysis or content.
