Turns my stomach.

I would shake David Noble's hand with a smile on my face over this Kent.

We won't go near winning.

My best hope is we give them a form of football Syphilis as they're ****ing us silly and their entire club enjoys the same freefall that snake began for us.
 
first time in a long time I don’t have the stomach to go. Then I thought about those young north boys going out there in front of those 50k* knuckleheads and I realised I need to be there to fight the fight also. We will lose but we won’t lose forever. When it turns I will be disgusted with myself if I don’t show my face today

I might have implied once or twice myself that I don't like the hecker.
 
Hoping we can get the win and let the * supporters hear some of Scotts greatest hits in the post match presser.

  • Get off to a great start ("We got ambushed!")
  • * making basic mistakes throughout ("Easy fixes")

Bonus if we can bribe the stadium staff to "accidentally" open the roof as the game starts.
 
If we win today with essendon sitting 3rd on the ladder under Scott's it would make up for the 30 odd losses in a row.
Hoping the footy Gods exist and this was all an elaborate plan to start our new era against the clown who assisted in screwing us over.

As there's an article today in The Age about "The man who’s made Essendon people proud of their club again" it would absolutely be chef's kiss perfection if we won. Many members of my family support Essendon; ooh the family WhatsApp would explode in that case, with me lighting the fuse around 4pm. Go North! (Unlikely but you never know!)
 
Just some comforting stats to head into the game with:

- Only 1 player remains from the team that last beat Essendon in 2016 (a drug suspension riddled Essendon team mind you) - Luke McDonald. There are more players from that team involved at Essendon currently (Todd Goldstein as a player, Ben Jacobs as an assistant coach) than there are remaining at North.

-With a victory, Goldstein will have beaten every team.
-With a loss, Bailey Scott will jump Bob Sellers into 4th place on the all-time worst individual win percentage list

- Wil Dawson joins Kallan Dawson in the exclusive "blokes with the surname Dawson to debut for North against Essendon" club - we, of course, lost Kal's debut by 48 points....something tells me we might unfortunately be in for a similar time in Wil's debut game.

- Then again maybe Clarko springs a surprise and starts Dawson forward, in which case he has the chance to join Mark Stevens, John Spaull, Ben Speight and Josh Williams in the illustrious "kicked a goal with their first kick in footy while debuting for North against Essendon" club - if so, fingers crossed he goes the Stevens "becomes a premiership player" trajectory and less the Spaull/Speight/Williams "is delisted in 2 years" trajectory.
 
You know you go to uni for 4-6 finish your course then your qualified in your chosen field.
Well these guys playing for us today have been playing this game from 12-20 years - when will they be qualified.
Its a basic game
 
If it wasn’t for Dawsons debut I probably wouldn’t be watching.

What have we become? What do we stand for? It’s about time these lads stood up and played hard ****ing footy and snagged us a win.
Can it be this week? Probably shouldn’t be, but why the **** not? These campaigners have played footy their entire lives, stop playing like you’ve only just started this year.

As has been said but bears repeating,
**** bard, **** Magoo and yes **** Goldie. You’re all campaigners so **** off.

North by 1 in the boil over of the season.

I'm the same. **** it, what's the worst that could happen? We get smashed? That's my bloody life as a North supporter right now. Go W. Dawson, go you youngsters. Fight!
