We looked okay in the first quarter despite a few brain fades, and even early in the second we were still competitive, but once Comben went off we looked undersized down back and the Dogs tall forwards took advantage. Our defenders weren't helped by our midfield under performing and being blown away in the centre, at one stage I think the centre clearences were 10-1 in the dogs favour and they'd kicked three goals from centre clearences. Then we started to play like we were in panic mode, fumbling and overrunning the ball, dropping easy marks, missing easy targets, playing scared football and being reactive and the game just spiraled into one big mess.

That was not how we have been playing since the bye, that was pre-bye football, and I would hope it's only a one off and we put in a more competitive performance next week.

Yep people are ignoring the bad footy that has remained in every single game because it has been sandwiched between a few decent periods. The actual margins of some games may look better but we habitually play like arse whenever the opposition applies any pressure, hence our pathological habit of giving up big leads when we happen to get them.

Trade down as many times as we can and turn pick 1/2 into pick 6-10 and as many 2nds as we can get so we can trade them all like raffle tickets to get some decent experience through the doors.

I can't take it anymore. If we are this bad again next season, I'm cutting the club off.

The Dogs win the ball surrounded by North players, handball through them to outside runners, and its deja vu all over again.

Their organisation & positioning gives them time and space to pick passes, their forwards lead, and they have good foot skills.

When we occasionally get time and space the kick is butchered, the handball looped, the loose ball fumbled....

It's been a long season, understandable the young fellas are tired and sore. Hope Charlie is ok.

Congrats Bailey on 100 games. If only you could kick over a jam tin.

Look forward to seeing RH2 with increased self-belief, and some more muscles.

Top 6 anywhere from 50 points and infinity

Our goal next year should be in the mix to win the bottom 6 and 2-3 wins in the middle 6 and rid ourselves of these blowouts against the top 6

Wait until after next year when we win 5 and the Tigers win 3. New draft concessions will be you get a before pick one compo if you lose 4 or less over two years.

Our list is simply 2 or 3 competent talls short to be competitive against teams like that. We know the Dogs forwards always kill us in the air, and yet every time we play undersized because we don't have any depth.

We can't just walk away from this offseason with another high pick mid, a veteran midfield leader like Viney or Parker, and some wing-and-a-prayer tall types with what we can scratch together out of the remaining flotsam.
