Word travells fast, not a smart thing for the EX vice president to play around with club minutes as he pleases. Must be the reason for his departure from Mernda l would think..;) I wonder if steppinup thinks that these wrong doings are acceptable in his beloved Mernda? These are the things that ruin clubs not coaches changing clubs as you alluded to in a previos post...

yep its official " UR A FLOG' , ive checked a lot of the forums of other comps , your the ONLY president around who gets on to stir shit at other clubs.. VERY SAD Jax... i hear 2 of your recruits have already come back home, cant beat good culture... we've been around 110 years & we'll be around a 100 more .. r u confident V/T can survive the position UV put them in ??? oh and ur right its not always an ex-coach that ruins a club , a president with he's own agenda can destroy a club... hope u get what u deserve jax....

You are very nasty my little friend. You need a skin graft and put it on that raw nerve that was just hit.:D:D:D

I was wondering what those five faces were... Then I realised. They're your 19's right?

Either that or it's the Committee...Oh how pleased they must be with their efforts...

GLENROY FC -STRONG EDFL DIV 2 Team have had a late pull out and are very keen for a Practise match this weekend. Contact Senior coach Brett Jefferies by sending me a PM

Well yesterday Everybody at Torquay was happy with the win.
As they say Winners are Grinners thats what the smiley faces are for :thumbsu:

That's my point EXACTLY. As long as the seniors go okay, they couldn't give a toss about the rest of the place.

What has happened at the junior club is a disgrace... And as bad as the people are who are running the juniors (and they are terrible), it's the senior committee that should be held accountable.

And, before you say anything...Yes..I have been a committee member for the last few years, and have bent over backwards trying to help the club, both hands on and financially.

Apparently the latest is that no complaints are being answered, ie: junior committee are invisible and will not return calls. Now, I know your focus is the seniors, but even you would agree that the obsession with the senior team objective to get to Div 1 has come at a hell of an expense. No 17's this year, and no 19's until 2013. The worst part is that the senior Prez, Secretary and Finance Magician were all warned about this a couple of years ago. The second worst part is that anyone who has had a look at the books (and I have) will tell you that the juniors contribute a MASSIVE profit to the club, which in the past was eaten up or "redirected" by the seniors - the drop in numbers = about $10K - $20K straight off the bottom line.

And i thought we would be the rivals to Epping...?!? It's not all about the finances at Epping - The below is a co-operative between both clubs...

Both clubs are playing for bragging rights and season favouritism come April 9 - Round 1.
Both are leading the market in regards to the early flag predictions and both have Division 1 in their sights.

But bragging rights and favouritism is not all the guys will be playing for come Saturday the 9th, both clubs have has connections that have been touched by premature births. Brad Hollows and Jarrod King are both members of the Epping Football Club, Jarrod is the bother in law of Lalor Captain Steven Marshall and players from both clubs are right behind the families and the children still fighting their personal little battles.

Codi, son of Jarrod was given hours to live being born at 24 weeks on the first AFL Grand Final Day 2010, he recently reached his 150 day birthday. An outstanding effort by both the hospitals and Codi himself. “We are just amazed every day at the survival of our little guy. The support from everyone involved, every moment of every day, always fills me with emotions” Said Jarrod King, father of Codi. Jarrod was recruited from North Heidelberg who has also combined with Lalor on many occasions to support families in need.

Boag’s Draught have also helped support the day in honour of the two clubs rivalry and the efforts towards the personal struggles each family is going through. The Boag’s Draught CUP will be both a battle of scoreboard results and generosity, as members from each club will be collecting money in Blue and Red buckets on the day. Aggregate score board results added to money collected by both clubs will determine the eventual winner of the CUP.

All money raised will go to the Royal Children’s Hospital GOOD FRIDAY APPEAL – We would encourage all sports loving locals to get down to the day and support a great cause toward both clubs fantastic co-operation. For more details contact Benjamin Charles at Sports Support on 0408 403 938.

Well done to Steve, Rod and the commitee for getting their club to support co-operative events...

A bit of spice for the local High st derby this week , apparently a certain senior coach rang the opposition "prez" and gave him an old fashion spray!! I wonder what thats all about??
Also the two coaches have abit of history to spice it upeven more hahaha (Sinclair is a knob though). Two great clubs doing battle lets hope for a sunny day and ice cold beer bring it on.

Great post by Lalor Prez about Epping and Lalor getting together to raise money for RCH and then a bogan calling himself Firsttimecaller posts a load of pure verbal Diarrhea !

If there isn't Police attendance required at the Lalor Vs Epping game, I'll eat my hat. Lalors scummy crowd of thugs and Eppings cocky supporters after they give them a touch up will result in fireworks. Thats if they manage to behave themselves during the match. Big IF!

Best case scenario is that Lalor continue their preseason form and just keep belting the suitcases out of eachother.

You are a tool mate!

Nah, it wasn't old fashioned, it was a pretty up to date and current spray but ay, were all passionate about our clubs and it can only add to the BIG MATCH... Really looking forward to a big day and a bumper crowd... Should be a great match...

Are the so called Lalor supporters who are always on the outer wing, drinking their eskys full of their own alcohol (not bought at the club) and cooking their own food, instead of putting the money back to the Club, back again this season???

Would you like fries with your hat meal… Not sure which decade you’re living in bud but your way off the mark.
The Lalor crowd are very happy civilised people… However, there will be security on the gates checking for BYO alcohol, new policy at Lalor to police our responsibilities towards our RSA… Not fair to have gate keepers checking boots.
The Lalor preseason has been nothing but smooth, not sure what you’re talking about with “Best case scenario is that Lalor continue their preseason form and just keep belting the suitcases out of each other.” You’ve been misinformed here mate, there has not even been an bad word said amongst the bunch...

Good to see finally you have taken the club out of the 80's and 90's, let's hope your supporters have as well.

As above, good to see your taking steps forward! Maybe not a direct Lalor FC gig, excuse me if I'm wrong Prez but didn't one of your deputies end up in hospital in the early hours after being king hit by another Lalor member???

Gees.....do you think all clubs don't have their internal issues ??
If it's true, I think this would be an issue dealt with internally, not for public gossip. I've seen similar stuff happen at Epping too you know.

You've thrown a few mud pies around the past few days. God help us if Epping actually get up and beat Lalor.

COLOR=black]I think you'll find it was the same member who had some trouble at Epping a few weeks earlier, has played at Epping and several other clubs, has connections to Another club in second division at present – With your line of thinking, does this make all the clubs responsible...??? I think not bud… Not a member of the football club, was a cricket player who was attending a birthday during cricket season... Police were called to sort the issue and the incident was handled with poise, it is still an on-going investigation with ridiculous claims so not wise to comment much further. Not sure what your angle is here mate...?!? I try to avoid the mudslinging publicly, use a forum for talk, not slander when you are well misinformed. As it stand i have had a phone call claiming a bottle will be smashed over my head amongst several other things by a particular Epping coach in front of his entire team on a bus - And you claim we are scum and the ones to be concerned about...??? ha ha. Will be a great game and both sides will be at their best. Don't throw stones half cocked mate and try to make a club look bad, it can bite you.

Lalor Prez, my sources tell me (and 2 of them were on the bus) that the reason that the Epping Coach threatened to smash a bottle over your head, was because you MISQUOTED him in an article in the local paper and on the Lalor Website??? Is this true?? Did you actually even speak to the Epping Coach to get an quote, or did you make it up???

I heard that the conversation that eventuated between you and Bandera was warranted???

Why would you quote someone, that you never even spoke to? I have read the article on the Lalor website and it makes Epping sound extremely cocky? If you were misquoting someone, why not misquote a Lalor representative?

The 2 people that witnessed the conversation on the bus said that the spray you got was warranted???

Ah, your back planets.... Now i understand that smashing bottles over the heads of people is always the best solution and always warranted when druming up a combined fund raiser... it was written as a sample and sent through to the president for editing. That was what was sent back along with a bit about Brad Hollow... Everything had been discussed between clubs and a purpose had been set... Gotta get it right planets, get the whole story... www.lalorfc.org.au if you want to have a look... Nothing has been altered. Remember, we are playing local footy here and if a phone call 10am Saturday morning while i was eating breakfast was not made we wouldn't be talking about it now... No one at Lalor had even taken any notice... Think the guys at Epping are doing a great job and it should be a cracker Saturday...

Yes, I am back, and yes I have the full story......-----
Are you saying that you did get a quote from Bandera??? Did you lie, or make any quotes up?? You said that nothing was altered, it was altered because Bandera didnt even talk to you?

Are you saying that it is the Presidents fault, because he should have checked it? Bottom line is, you wrote the article and said that you got a "quote from Epping Coach Mario Bandera", you didnt even speak to him?????

What i hear is that Bandera made the 10am phone call, you didnt, because he was MISQUOTED? Do you understand that the whole problem was because you wrote something that was a lie? Mayby Epping wouldnt be so pissed, if you didnt make them seem extrememly cocky. Why didnt you make Dean Sinclair the one to sound cocky, if you were just making stuff up?

The smashing of the bottle comment, wasnt called for, but being a president, you should know you cant put words in people mouths.

Well that settles it...based on what I'm reading here and what I'm told from blokes at both clubs..NOTHING HAS CHANGED. I was going to attend to help the cause, but BOTH clubs don't deserve it. And I'm sure there are others who feel the same. BOTH clubs should be ashamed that they have lost contributors to a charity. I'll make my donation direct.

Prez, a bit less talk on here and just get on with your job. And Supa...must be short for Supasook. No wonder players have left Epping in droves.
