Davies got off from tribunal, the rodent from 'bridge got 4 weeks, so expect Davies to put in a big game, along with big man Curlis back from the 1's to help out. Dont discount the Demons just yet. The wee man Tyson Truong has played pretty good football lately so will be in the mix.

Stars have decided to postpone Under 19's till 2010. This decision comes because most players interested we're born in 1992 which will make them top aged under 17's and with our junior affiliate planning to enter an under 17's they have requested for our potential players to be patient and spend a season supporting the junior club.

Look buddy, this is an open forum for anyone to post news on Division 2 under 19's and im pretty sure that the title of this thread is Nothern Football League Div 2 U19's. Does NOT say 2008. And im pretty sure people have taken notice in it and just not who cares...

i saw the the under 19s game on the weekend apparently the showcase of the 2 best teams whit and macloed come next year your all gonna get flogged in divy 1 the standard of the 19s was below average, thats all i really have to say!

well iv been to a few mernda games this year they struggled you can see alot of there talent has gone up ie: shelts etc but yeh 1 of the under 19s teams left will becoming up it will make the legue more uneven!

I was at the game and South Morang were alot better on the day obviously, Thomo looked flat all day and Morang just ran over the top of them.
Morang played alot better than they have during the season and with there players back from seniors they look a much stronger outfit.
Will be very interesting to see the result this week, especially with macleod seniors playing there could be 1 or 2 missing from there line up.

My tips with Macleod in a very close game with Whittlesea to take the flag.

Well this can only be good for the competition, especially if they have the same sort of first season as there seniors did.
Hopefully alot more division 2 clubs start to get some numbers to put in u19s.

to be honest mate i think that mernda wernt that spectacular last year nothing fancy as south morang defeated them in the opening round proved not unbeatable the only reason the team went anywhere was because of shelton he is clearly the difference and can change the game at the drop of a hate im sure if reservoir this year had shelts they would have made finals!!!

Celano, mate you are a goose. Merndas last years U19s lost 1 match, the very 1st game. The reason was, they were a new side that didnt know each other, and still hadnt bonded. They flogged Morang in their second encounter. Hustbridge was the only side that really gave them a fright during the finals and the kids lifted in time on and the rest is history,PREMIERS.Yes Shelts was a big help to the side, along with Thornycroft, Naz,both the o'callahan boys,Stewy, etc etc. This was a team that really got on together both on field and of. Notice i said TEAM. Mate next time,take a little time before you put your crayons to paper.

goose pretty sure ur the goose mate u put shelts in a team like morang this year or macleod or whittlsea im pretty sure the outcome will be the same at it was for mernda last year all those players u mentioned they were decent hard workin players which im sure every team has but when u have a stand out like shelts in your team it makes a whole lot of a difference

No but can really change the game all im saying is whenever any mernda ppl talk about there season and there really good players its always shelton this and shelton that and the kid is unbelivable could be playing afl if he wanted to thats the difference btw shelton and justin stewart theres probable 20 justin stewarts running around in the 19s this year but yet to see any sheltons
