generally because his name will be recognized by his ability to perform or not i would of thought.

not all good players can attract other good players and extra supporters, somebody with a name can. Its not just about being competitive on the field but making sure your still making the dollars off it.

you're right, news just in is that the coach is 20weeks as well!
And if you count Brock, it takes it to 6 due in June.

West Preston will definitely improve if the team can gel together although McFerran will be a loss to a young side.
These teams are all evenly matched and any side could win on the day.
I wouldn't rate Bundoora too far ahead of this group either if last year is any guide to go by!!

try and be a succesful club for 25-30 years. then come and talk to us. the likes of bundoora and north heidelberg have been playing finals football consistently for that many years. heidelberg have had 4 good years because of one man. everyone knows that. succes is one thing but arrogants is another. if heidelberg had one these premierships without rubbing it in everyones face im sure everyone wouodnt mind. but the arrogance that comes with them is shithouse. try and run a club with local sponsors, supporters and players that just love playing footy. and arent there to collect a pay cheque. sooner or later you will come crashing down and we will all be laughing

i heard geoff huegell (not sure how to spell it) the ex australian swimmer is linked with heidelberg this year, as a fitness coach.
