When questioned on AFL Insider about how the club handled the Majak Daw incident:

Brad Scott: "One of the best things that ive noticed about North Melbourne is when things like this happen, I have NEVER experienced a club to rally around their own like North Melbourne people do. Hes really been embraced and hes wrapt with the support he's received and is going about his business as usual."


Chief then went on to compliment the club with their handling of the issue.

That's why when we start getting the on field stuff together we'll be head and shoulders above anyone else. We're a family, a weird family at times, but a family. Not the us against them garbage. We're better than that. I had no doubt Majak would have been well supportered. Hell, he would've only had to log in to BigFooty to see that.
