Cherry Ripe and Bounty can GAGF I hate coconut
I mainly go for plain Cadbury's but do a bit of Fruit and Nut to stay healthy
Love white chocolate too and Mars Bars and Turkish Delight with or without chocolate

Caramel Whips used to be a fave
Love Maltesers and Flake
Milky Bars are good but I always think 'Why aren't you a Mars Bar?'
Plain fudge is excellent but pricey. Had some home cooked stuff once that was heavenly.

Quality discussion, all.

I used to work nightshift in a highway-truckstop servo, so have in the past eaten them all--gratis--with great regularity. Having been held deeply in the paralysis of indecision brought on by the full glittering array laid out under those fluorescents, night after droning night (and knowing where the camera's blind spots were) has gifted my pallette a certain level of discernment.

I must say, I am somewhat disappointed that no one has yet mentioned Ferrero Rochers, Mint Patties, Cadbury Snack, Freddo Frogs and the glorious Caramello Koala. Boosts were ok if you craved a nuclear hit of chocolate n' caramel with a crunch. Kinder Buenos were weird but underrated. Peppermint Crisps were great, yes, but on the whole not worthy of the adulation they received. There. I've said it. As for Picnic or Chokito, I really had to be in the mood. And most of the time, that mood was ruined by them being too hard. A non-chewy Picnic is like vegemite without toast. Same with the revered White Knights. Curly Wurlys were amazing, but a real commitment, if you know what I mean. Serving customers with caramel all over your teeth isn't a good look. Flakes were nice, but well-known for their logistical challenges. Ice Cream Crunchies for bonus-level stuff. Amazing.

Dark Cherry Ripes and Cherry Bounties, along with Turkish Delights, were phenomenal. Twix was perfect. Snickers and Mars dependable quality as always. Milky Ways really packed a perfect little punch. I went through phases, as favourites passed from week to week, but there were certain offerings so underwhelming I only tried them once. TimeOut and Twirl come to mind. So very meh. Kit Kats were a bit boring also; why not just upgrade and have a Twix? Pods are overrated. Just don't get it.

We really do make chocolate bars better than anyone else on this planet. It one of the few things that drags a smidgeon of patriotism out of me. Although a Kiwi truck driver once gave me a bag of Chocolate Minties. ****en tops.

p.s. Bags of chocolate-covered blueberries and pineapple chunks -- absolutely beguiling combinations. The pre-diabetic truckies that would wheeze glassy-eyed through the auto-doors at 4am, hunting them like spear-wielding tribesman mad with hunger (and threaten my bodily person with creative acts of violence when they inevitably weren't in stock).

After my paper round at the Station hotel Saturday night , off to the Grand or Troc with a bag full of aniseed balls .
took you a week to suck one to nothing !
1 shilling = about 5 kgs. When you got sick of eating them they made great ammo .

PS , sorry if some of you old blokes on here copped the odd whack .

Congrats, you simultaneously have the dumbest and best comment on this thread.

Anyone hating on coconut can go walk off a cliff. Cherry Ripe is average, but Bounty and Summer Roll are god-tier chocolates.

At the same time, you're the first to mention the Heaven-on-Earth that is fruit and nut. There's very few that truly appreciate this brilliance in confectionary

Quite often I drift into fantasy but never in my most fevered dreams would I think there would be someone who does not like white Lindt balls
White chocolate is not actually chocolate, in the pantry at the moment I have Double
Dipped Cherry Ripe " Ripe juicy cherries and coconut lusciously double dipped in old
gold rich dark chocolate " with a best before date of 30-12-20, but rest assured it
will be devoured before the day is out.

Good memories. How about 'Ranch Night' every Wednesday evening at the Barkly Theatre and a couple of Poons dimmies on the way home. I go back a long way!

glorious Caramello Koala - yes! I did think of it when I posted caramello - just didn't spell it out.

Wagon Wheels - the only chocolate I actually still indulge in to this day. When something sweet calls & there's no home made brownies it's down to the shops for a WW

The Wagon Wheel was, is and always will be the king of the tasty chocolate covered treat.

Mars bars and Chokitos are ******* rank.
Tots agree on Chokitos- so not worth the effort. But Mars Bars lead to Mars Bar slice and there ain’t nothing rank about that!

Mars Bars are just way too rich for a poor boy like me. No matter how you slice it.
