So is anyone going to tell me why Firman from the Cowboys is Whoring himself off, i mean $1500 isn't much when you think about it, 1 bad tackle and he may never walk again.

Also what about the players who have played for nothing over the last couple of years?

Some ppl didn't get payed 1 cent because a team like norths or someone got the chop.

What about players like beaver at Manly who continually takes a pay cut to stay at the 1 team?

I don't get all this Rugby ********...I guess considering there are 10 teams in probably a 2 km radius of each other it doesn't matter. All i hear is...blah blah blah, I'm an NRL fan and it is the ********test sport ever.

yeah, where is that West Tigers guy celebrating. There were plenty of handshakes after the game whilst celebrating in the the AFL Grand Final...as i said...where was this Tigers celebration at this Point of time?

NRL players on average, earn much less than AFL players. even the highest earning league players, for eg. darren lockyer andandrew johns, would earn as much as a very average/low profile australian football player.

I notice that over 2 million of the viewers were only in the heartlands of Sydney and Brisbane.
The AFL ratings were spread right across the nation and still will be much more than the RL so as usual real Australian Football has nothing to fear from thugby..
