Good luck to them but with the hand outs they have received, if they go on to with the flag this year or next, it won’t sit well with a lot of people

They didn't have a side 2 years ago. They won 1 game this year. What do you want to happen?Good luck to them but with the hand outs they have received, if they go on to with the flag this year or next, it won’t sit well with a lot of people

What should have the league done then? They had 60 points last year and finished bottom, they've got 5 less and look competitive and look a threat and you complainMassive advantage and will go a long way to winning them a flag.
Does David Sinclair and the O&M give the points and advantage over everyone else to Myrtleford next?

I think some of the head shaking comes from the notion that aside from the floods, the predicament that Corowa found themselves in was very much of their own doing in the stubbornness to address the Corowa cluster issue.Exactly. People complaining at anything and everything
You do realise it costs millions to rebuild club rooms and its a local state and federal funding issue, not the clubs fault.I think some of the head shaking comes from the notion that aside from the floods, the predicament that Corowa found themselves in was very much of their own doing in the stubbornness to address the Corowa cluster issue.
I get that the community needs to feel good and positive about something but from first glance it would appear that they have been handed some concessions that don’t really look to set the club up for a sustainable future. I suppose you have to start somewhere but you get that feeling that Cressa is very much for the here and now.
What is being done to address the development of local talent, or investment in those inhabitable facilities? I’d honestly sooner get changed in a public toilet than those shipping containers.
North Albury are a shining example of building from the bottom up. With Corowa it seems like letting a kid loose in a lolly shop with $100 and no parent in sight
Maybe you missed the part where I mentioned that the floods were out of their control. I would think that instead of a bandaid fix that a well thought out and structured rebuild would hold you in better stead for the long term. You do realise it costs millions to rebuild club rooms and its a local state and federal funding issue, not the clubs fault.
Maybe rovers is a better example of how to build, good succession plan with crezza and muzz, he could do the same with bradtke, who would have some connections too. If most of the list stays next year they play in the 40 point bracket.
It's a bloody hard caper to come back from zero sides and it's good to see their thirds from 2022 coming back

I get that there is pain involved, but a short term sugar hit doesn’t fix the problem. I want to see C/R still around in 10 years time. I’m yet to see any evidence of learning from past mistakes
Peta, Peta, Peta. We have all been a bit too caught up in the Corowa recruiting hype. Win a flag in the next three years? Please. They won one game this year. Who are they leapfrogging honestly in 2025? I see Myrtleford, Lavington and Albury improving from outside of the top 5. The top 5 aren’t going backwardsRoos have say, 17 players that play with 2 points or more next season in their best side. If they keep those players for a second year their player points will drop to 38 total.
As long as they can create a winning culture and some excitement they will be fine.
Corowa will win the flag inside the next 3 years.

How much do Corowa pay him then?Dumb of them to give him $7 grand at this time of year
Not worth $350 while my A#$e points to the groundHow much do Corowa pay him then?
He’s not better then $350 I’d say
Looks like your ass points up Winkell! The amount of s h I t coming out of your mouthNot worth $350 while my A#$e points to the ground
I think the resurgence is fantastic. People however need to temper their enthusiasm and look at reality. Of those returning, they are basically unproven locals or minor league players who had no major impact before they left. Lavis and Bender will be the best of the youngsters. Bradtke’s body shape has changed, after watching him play for St Mary’s a couple of weeks ago- he looks like he has work to do fitness wise to have a big impact. Roos and Clayton will be solid rather than spectacular as one will be sat on each week. Then you have the intangible of the chemistry of Creswell/ Corowa . The last demanding coach they had didn’t end well. Just things to consider before we get 8 rounds in and they potentially aren’t in finals calculations. The absolute best of luck to them, it’s exciting the momentum they have- I’m just saying people need to understand this won’t be a one year rise. It will be a rebuild.I know, I’m being dramatic for effect. I hope they are more competitive in 2025, I want that as much as anyone.
Just hope they aren’t all of a sudden above Lavi, Hoppers, Bulldogs and Myrtleford mainly because of the massive handout they have been given.
Ian Wales will lose it!

I wouldn't take much notice of he's form at St marysI think the resurgence is fantastic. People however need to temper their enthusiasm and look at reality. It’s more his fitness which relates to formI wouldn't take much notice of he's form at St marys
What happens next year if CR has a big spike in performance under Cressa and wins a final and finishes fourth?
Do they go from 55 to 39 points or will they still be entitled to points concession of 46 points or thereabouts?
It's up to the AFL Vic region HQ not the league HQ for country comps - or is O&M run by AFL Vic? Some leagues are, some are run by their own people, I thought O&M had their own board & staffIt’s up to the league HQ. They dictate to all clubs what they want to do.
Gentlemen, this, is democracy manifest!
