Yarra picked up a good kid from hay. They'll miss masters though most of the year and no big signing yet

yes agree to a point ,, not stars though ,, and every club has so called depth players moving on every year ,, hasnt changed ,,one thing Ive seen so far with Yarra is they are recruiting a few under 18 players especially from the Murray League..
Dont think they need a big signing ..
See Wodonga and North Albury recruiting well
Struggled to field seconds and thirds teams this year. Have had more walkout this year... The mercenary environment doesn't work forever!
The most telling sign is that earlier this decade Yarra had one of the biggest followings in the league, this year they struggled to even get a couple hundred fans to the bloody grandfinal!
Many left to Mulwala last year and more have left this year because of it, everyone knows the gossip of what happened

Peter is a hard taskmaster, reminds me a little of myself, the young softy’s can’t handle that. Was Peter really the problem? Or was it the sheer arrogance of Albury and the micromanaging of inept buffoons at Corowa that tarnished his credentials? He’ll weed out the bad habits Johnson left.

Steve is in fairy land, he thinks because he played league football he can skip the queues while fuelling the car. It’s basic motoring etiquette to fill up and move in an orderly fashion, that doesn’t mean use the ammenities and browse the snack isle while double parked.

That second year of coaching Corowa, I believe they would have made finals if it wasn’t for the significant injuries they had, losing jy lane, Hansen, nastasi, Goodwin to injuries hurt them badly, they were looking good early that year. They only lost to Albury by a point on Easter weekend. But yes they could have been way better if they took note from the germ of how to run things. Though with the likes of eyers and Longmire running things, the club is in good hands.

Look at most of mulwala’s senior side, are blokes who have played for Yarra. Stevie slept with a 20 year old, which causes a ruckus within the club, which lead to a lot of departures, including the boyfriend at the time.
