I remember a lot of people from Leeton were really vocal on the O&M or Border Mail Facebook about him when he was announced
I don't know much about him, but he was appointed north shore coach and a couple weeks later without telling anyone he pops up as coach of Hobart. He's walked out on contracts as coach of North shore, Hobart, Leeton and Geelong ammos. I think if it happens once, you might think maybe the club forced him out, but 4 different clubs, the issue lies with Sam, let's hope he sticks out for 2 years at melton south or more and proves me and others wrong

Horse didn’t want a bar of the Cox succession plan, maybe he should have a look at what happened when Darryn handed the reigns to young Sam. Wouldn’t be surprised if Daz has him in the backseat through the season. I’ll be giving John a call, doesn’t hurt to ask the question, a coffee on the house usually gets the ball rolling.
Horse could do both he's new role at the swans and fly to corowa on weekends. Could be one of the best off field coaching panels assembled crezza, horse and Geoff

He didn’t get on his plane when Corowa beat Raiders, was a huge boost for the Roos before the game. Ellis-Yolmen was done and telling the Roo boys he couldn’t wait to get to the sunny coast!

So is Sam Darley a loss or not for Raiders?

Did some research on this Darley fella.
Every team he has played for since he left VFL has been terrible. Except for Point Cook which lost the grand final to Werribee Districts. Played in 3 finals that year and didn’t feature in the best once. Would be the highest level he’s competed at since 2018.
Hopefully he sticks it out with Melton South next year who didn’t win a match this season and turns them around a bit. Or, take the next offer and end up at Modewarre in the AFL Barwon in 2026

A good club like Modda wouldn’t touch him!

Absolutely no idea who he is. Players that play at a new club every year to fill their pockets (presumably) annoy me a bit though.
Even more so when the clubs are battling clubs that sign these players with the hope that their fortunes are going to turn around by getting a no doubt talented player into their club.
Clubs have to be extra cautious these days with recruiting. It’s one thing finding a talented footballer but it’s equally important to find a player who is dedicated and committed to the challenge ahead.
Surely 7 clubs in 6 years comes with some sort of points penalty?

Horse Longmire brother Murray to be new president of Corowa tomorrow night. Maybe the Horse can provide some input into the important next steps in the Roos return to field with some newfound spare hours in a week. Good on him if he does.

There’s some serious young talent coming through, only thing that can stop them are the Sheila’s and slow horses. Stay focused, we could see the youngest premiership team in history. The baby Hawks, and what better wings to be under than a premiership coach & former league footballer.

Yep but corowa are obviously paying him a bit and going after a young rival player, not sure clubs should eat their own, with Wang's outs you'd think he'd be a certain starter in their ones

Certain starter might be a stretch. Sounds like the young fella has got a big offer and taken the promises Corowa have offered him. See how he goes next year.
Hope he enjoys driving to Corowa two nights a week and actually gets to play senior footy with that promise I guess?
