She has already beaten Hartnell. Winx hasn't had to do much as you shouldn't. Preserve the horse it's GF is the CP. It's still won the races easily enough.

Apart from the 1 scratching early in the prep (bog heavy track and you don't kill a horse early in its prep), it hasn't been that much cotton wool from Waller.
It will be a great race though but I'll be having Winx regardless of how impressive Hartnell was today.
Let's wait and see.

Lol yeah 1st up over 1400m, she had way more in her favour that day and would be ridiculous to use as a measuring stick
She had won 5 from 6 1st up heading in, while he had placed once from 5 1st up goes
She had won 5 times over 1400m or less, he had placed once from 2 starts over the distance (as a 2yo)
He settled behind her in the run and still put in his best 1st up performance to date
You cannot use that race as any sort of reference to say Winx has the better of him heading toward a Cox Plate
