Big call. What do you think of Marine One’s chances?

Acceptable bet, especially if you want to risk those shorter. I can’t come up with a reason to risk EW other than he got a high tempo easy run and bunny to chase 2nd up around a track that suits (home track) so it may be close to his top, but next few in market could pot easily. Worst case I’m think EW could regress a length or so and still have them covered (likely result) or hold/improve to point where he kills them.

the nature strip comment was tongue in cheek but this guy well above average. And the stallions a freak.

What are people’s thoughts on Mr Brightside? Won 6 in a row, but never hear much about him.

Many of the horses in this race could have won 6 in a row in similar class - happy to risk at this price with the big jump up into G1 company.

As has been the case every year the Golden Eagle sees some decent horses going around at ludicrous prices and I would be disappointed if the F4 didn't pay at least 10k - the perfect type of race for the old ABC first 4 system. I'll be playing as follows and hoping to get Thundy boi beat.

A - Maximal, Law of Indices
B - Reve De Vol, I'm Thunderstruck, Vangelic
C - Private Eye, Apache Chase, Ellsberg

You misspelt moral.

Have seen lesser cases done for incompetent riding than Josh Richards there in r7 at Kilmore.

Heavily backed, spends the entire race taking on the tearaway leader with 6 lengths back to third when he could easily slot in behind the leader. Somehow still holds on for 3rd.

El Patroness looks a good thing for the Wakeful/Oaks double. Has looked like such a strong staying filly taking on the boys and the fact they were even contemplating going the Derby route shows how good they think she is too

Looking at ze ol' forecast it may be a contest on who can swim 2500m rather than run it.
