Care to elaborate? And you might not want to use Judd's exit from WCE as a point of reference as it's very similar.

Perhaps pick 3 plus Morton isn't enough, how about pick 3 and our 3rd rounder plus Morton?

The point is he hasn't resigned with the Swans. If I was Mr Neeld I'd be on the phone to his manager once a week (since July), throwing all sorts of cash at him, whatever he's after. Once that's sorted I'd be pushing Sydney to get the trade done on day 1 of trade week. Send a message to the competition.

I'd take that any day of the week over any other player that's been mentioned.

I just don't see him leaving is all. He has the chance to do some special things in Sydney and it seems incredibly unlikely that he'd just throw in the towel after the grand final and ask for a trade to Melbourne. I'd give sydney half our list and pick 3 for him if i had my way, i mean throwing in Cale is just a bonus since we all know Cale has negative trade value if anything.

Cam Pederson for a second rounder. lol's on top of lol's.

Would be a handy pick up (better version of Sellar) but a second rounder? no thanks.

Agree. Third rounder at a stretch, and a large stretch at that.

sounds like he has an inflated sense of self worth, he really isn't that good. would fit in well with the bombers

Yep, would have been the second coming of Chris Johnson.

Spoke to caddy when I was out last night... He ain't interested in coming to the dees.

This thread is long and I won't read it all so before I smash this post let me check first - I assume you have mentioned in here you know Caddy personally or something? If so then no worries, I'll take it at face value. If not...

Anyone know more about this bloke? 194cm, looks a bit skinny, but must be pretty handy, kicking 59 goals at WAFL level this year.

Sounds like an interesting player and he fills a need - with Jurrah gone and Watts seemingly playing down back for the time being we are light on for taller blokes to support Clark. Problem is with the picks we have I doubt we will get him. Our first 3 picks would be too high, second rounder (hopefully) goes on Viney and then I'd assume someone will take him before our next pick. But like the look of him and if he slipped through would be very happy to see us take him.

Lee is 21 years old and going by that photo it doesn't look like he is going to fill out much, no more lean tall guys for mine. Also he kind of looks like Cale...

Yeah he isn't that big, you're right there. Plus I've never seen him play to be fair so he might be the goods or he might have kicked a few bags against shit opposition. If we got him with our third rounder I wouldn't complain.

Word is...Harry O'Brien. Apparently had a chat with Neeld.

Alright, slam the club, its recruiters, staff and threaten to tear up your membership discuss.

Where is that word from?

Edit - and if you say Demonland I'll throw you off a cliff! ;)

Lulz, Harry might be the worst one on one defender I've seen. Looks great running out of defense though.

And the bloke rates himself very, very highly. He isn't short of having plenty of tickets on himself.

Only time I've been on DL this year was to prove that Schwab did indeed have an account there at one stage, but I've heard it twice over social media. Separately. With Neeld being Neeld, I wouldn't be surprised if there's real merit to it.

I can't imagine him having to defend against 60 inside 50s a game. Would be funny, I'd imagine there'd be a lot of flailing and finger pointing. :D

Same goes for Wellingham and even Cloke - Neeld would know full well if these players would be worth pursuing and if they would fit the model and structure he wants us to play.

Unfortunately this year I think watts gave him a run for his money. Watts was good in the back line when playing as a loose backman, but got smashed when he had a man. Even Toby Greene beat him in a one on one. That said Harry would be a close second, and he can't read the flight of the ball like watts can.

Also can't kick the ball as well as Watts can. O'Briens game plan is usually to put his head down run as far as he can then just kick it as far as he can without even looking, works at times if you have Cloke and Dawes in top form, otherwise...

I'm no Harry O fan. And he made his fair share of mistakes on Friday not. But he was bold in that third quarter and really took the game on. His run and carry helped get Collingwood back into the game. He's no world beater one on one, but if you're telling me our list couldn't use a rebounding defender with real pace, who just happens to be from a professional club such as Collingwood and who is well known to our coaching group, then I'll go he!
